The fourth cure is about investing safe. It has become very common to invest with medium or high risk profiles to try to maximize your gain within a short period of time. Unfortunately the higher possible return is - the higher is the risk of losing it all. “Guard thy treasure from loss by investing only where thy principal is safe, where it may be reclaimed if desirable, and where thou will not fail to collect a fair rental. Consult with wise men. Secure the advice of those experienced in the profitable handling of gold. Let their wisdom protect thy treasure from unsafe investments”

So not only should you play it safe but the best thing to do would also be to consult with wise people if you are not wise yourself in the ways of safe investing.This was the fourth of the seven cures and if followed to the letter will secure your financial freedom when you are ready to retire.
