Humidifiers can improve your indoor health

I have to admit that I didn't really know anything about humidifiers just a few years ago. But if you have ever been in an environment that is very dry you might be able to imagine that a device that is able to add water to the air and thereby increase the humidity in the room might be a nice thing to own.

Humidifiers such as the Crane cow humidifer are very often household products not much different from any other appliance you have in your home. The devices that Crane produces are designed for kids because research have shown that adding moisture to a room with help kids (people in general) breathe easier if they are suffering from the flu, colds or child asthma.

For adults the Vicks company has a designed the germ free humidifier that will kill almost 100% of the germs in the air leaving only fresh and clean air in the room. Like the Crane model it consists of a reservoir where you store the water that is going to be vaporized into the air, a wick and then of cause the fan that is going to spread it into the air. To kill the germs the Vick model has been added ultra violet light which will give a bright blue light and you can use it as a night light if you wish.
